Stickybeak tour: Lisa Britzman – Campo De Flori

There is nothing as interesting to a ceramist as seeing how other ceramists organise their studios and tackle the challenges and delights of being an artist!

The Tasmanian ceramics Association is delighted to announce an upcoming stickybeak tour to Lisa Britzman’s studio and shop. Lisa combines being a farmer with making ceramics and will share her studio organisation, talk about establishing a business (pitfalls, hints and tips) and may demonstrate some aspects of her work, depending on weather.

The addition of a woodfired pizza lunch adds to the enjoyment! Numbers are limited, so be quick to enrol.

  • When: Sunday 22nd October, 10:30 to end of lunch
  • Where: 184 Lanes Rd, Glen Huon (Easy to find following signs).
  • Cost: $40 which includes a woodfired pizza lunch. Lisa will provide the pizza bases, and participants bring along their own choice of toppings to create their own pizza.
  • Browse: in the Campo de Flori shop for home grown produce as well as Lisa’s range of ceramics.

Exhibition 2017

Online Entry Form

"In The Potters Garden"

The Schoolhouse Gallery, Rosny

Members of the Tasmanian Ceramics Association are invited to create work for our upcoming Annual Exhibition, “In the Potters Garden”.

Ceramics has an intimate connection to the garden and natural world. From the raw materials we use, dug from the earth, to the works we make specifically for the outdoors and the ceramic pieces that are inspired to bring the natural world inside.

We ask our members to let their imaginations run wild in creating works that bring nature to ceramics. We encourage all members of the Association, at all levels of experience and expertise, to enter work in this exhibition. It is an opportunity once a year when we can bring together the diversity of the Tasmanian Ceramics Association community to showcase the individual talents of our membership.
