2019 TCA Workshops

2019 promises to be an exciting year for ceramics in Tasmania, and alongside the events happening for the Australian Ceramics Triennale, we are working hard at TCA to deliver an interesting and diverse program of workshops and studio visits.

Our aim is to get out and about as much as possible, exploring the creative places that ceramicists work, checking out some unique collections, increasing knowledge and skills by investigating interesting techniques and facilitating discussion on professional development topics.

Please refer to the TCA website for details of workshops as they are added during the year. We are also happy to promote workshops that TCA members are running. Please contact us with the details if you’d like to be included on our website.

We hope that you’ll find something of interest in the program, which will continue to evolve over the year. We are also happy to take suggestions for topics if there is something you’ve always wanted to learn about, somewhere you’d love to visit or would like to offer to facilitate a workshop.

We’d love to know more about what our members are interested in gaining from the workshop program, so would very much appreciate if you are able to fill in our very short survey (5 minutes we promise!) by 31 March 2019. Otherwise you can email us any time at

You can link to the short survey here:

We hope to see you at some of our events this year.
